Is it fine to take honey if we have diabetes or hypertension?

I'm јυѕt curious, іѕ іt safe іf wе take honey wһіƖе аt tһе same time wе аƖѕο һаνе hypertension οr diabetes? Bесаυѕе I heard ѕοmе people ѕаіԁ іt іѕ חοt recommended tο ԁο ѕο. Aѕ far аѕ I concern, honey іѕ a ɡrеаt medicine. I јυѕt want tο һеƖр οtһеr people though. Thanks....

You can take it, have to realize it’s sugar and will raise blood levels. Do your search on different types of honey etc. Don’t over do it. I also eat fruits and it doesn’t impact my levels to much. Thre both good for you.

Any sugary substance will raise blood sugars and is definitely not a good idea for “medicine” with a diabetic. Since it is not salty it is probably ok for people with hypertension but again I doubt being used as a medicine will be effective. You need to do more research if you want to help people rather than harm them.
Count your carbs.
According to my doctor friend who is a diabetic, he takes honey from time to time to satisfy his sweet tooth (not necessarily as a medicine) but he counts calories and carbs, so there’s no problem there, he says. And by the way, he is also hypertensive. So, in moderation, honey could be a good source of food and as a medicine for those who believe in its efficacy and effectiveness to alleviate some ailments.
